How this site makes money
Betting-Online.ca is supported in part through affiliate partnerships with licensed sportsbooks and online casinos. When you click certain links on this site and go on to create an account with an operator, we may receive a commission from that operator. This is a common funding model across independent review and comparison sites, and it does not cost you anything extra - commissions are paid by the operator, not added to your deposit or wager.
What this does not change
Our editorial content - guides, strategy articles, regulatory explanations, and review scores - is produced independently of our affiliate relationships. Specifically:
- We do not accept payment in exchange for a specific review score or ranking position
- Our sportsbook and game review methodologies are applied consistently regardless of whether an operator has an affiliate relationship with us
- We link to, and cover the legal status of, operators we do not have an affiliate relationship with where relevant, including provincial lottery platforms
- Strategy and educational content on this site is not influenced by affiliate relationships in any way
Only licensed operators
We only maintain affiliate relationships with operators that hold a valid license from a recognized Canadian regulatory body (AGCO/iGaming Ontario, a provincial lottery corporation, or the Kahnawake Gaming Commission) for the jurisdiction being promoted.
